I’m 36, and my early 20s were all dfms. Some truly terrible decisions happened — but so did some of my fondest memories of being young and slightly wild. I have long Covid now — and thus a lackluster immune system — and what I miss most is being tipsy in a packed bar with my friends. The energy of the crowd, our tipsy contagious laughing while trying each others’ drinks.
