This substack should unequivocally be everyone's business since it's so damn delicious and pertinent and important, thank you♡ the whole "not my business"sentiment feels so liberating♡
I had an acquaintance from college ask me recently, aren't you worried about people from school reading this? baby it's none of my business what they read
For me aliens and space are really the winner in this list lol. You could never get me to care about going to space, and aliens...I don't get the obsession. I have honestly no stakes in whether they exist or not.
I find the juxtaposition of you declaring how insane the question the stranger at the party asked you and advised to never ask it, and yet it unearthed something profound in you.
And that’s what I find so lovely and interesting— maybe it’s in the things we least expect where we find ourselves again, in a nostalgic reintroduction. You didn’t think, you just responded and surprised your own self in a powerful way. Or maybe it’s how it doesn’t matter if people ask the wrong questions, it doesn’t matter what others do, because of course back to your title- it’s none of our business.
But it is our business to be ourselves genuinely and authentically.
Went on a random tangent here but whatever I’m happy to have found you and this post, thank you. i appreciate you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, too 🙏
Enjoy it fully, your relationship with you is strong, hard, very critical, acidic, uncomplacent, but brutally real to you and that is respected and appreciated.
Incredible list on both ends!! Also adding to things that are none of my business: whatever the back of my hair looks like

I freaking loved this. I too, find "find my friends" to be a bit much, and I'm glad to find someone else who agrees hahaha

I know!! As a high schooler, it’s really bad here. Like, I don’t want to know what my friends are doing 24/7. That sounds toxic
