Emily!!!! Of all the roles I play in my life (friend, daughter, partner, therapist, etc.) being your sister is my absolute favorite 🥹 I am SO lucky to know you, to love you, and to have had the privilege to do so through every wonderful, questionable and/or embarrassing phase of life. This is the most beautiful portrait of our relationship I could ever conceive. Maybe one day I’ll be able to read it without sobbing, but so far we are not there yet. Love you SO MUCH LITTLE SIS 💖😭🥹🫶🏻
When I visit my sister, her husband sleeps in the guest room and lets us share the bed lol. I thought I would lose those special times alone with her, but they still exist, and I am grateful <3 Love this story.
This is the cutest thing ever. I always wish I had a sister because I feel like there is no bond quite like sisterhood. I wonder if my brother would ever think, let alone write about me like this lol
Thank you for sharing this it was lovely to read. I don't have a sister but I do have 2 daughters and this will be them one day. They're only 6 and 2 but they are soul mates. They imprinted on each other the moment the second one was born. I'm relishing living in the same house with this special bond. Its magic.
The fight over the book? Classic sibling stuff! You nailed the messy, real side of being sisters—how you can be both each other’s biggest fans and harshest critics ✨
This reminds me of the beach trip that I took with my parents and little sister (12 years younger!) when I was pregnant with my first child. I went without my husband and was soon to be a mommy, so it was special for my sister and me to get that time. 💕

Oh my god same! I get along well with my brother but there's definitely no deep thinking about me coming from him. 😂
lol I know right!
